2011 PHOTO CONTEST

The Bainbridge Convention and Visitors Bureau (BCVB) is looking for photographs to use in their publications and advertising. Enter our contest to win a chance to be on the cover of the next Bainbridge brochure! 

The Details:

1.     You must enter the contest through Flickr™

2.     You must be a member of the Bainbridge, Georgia group.

3.     The contest will run through March 15, 2011. 

4.     One winner will be chosen and will be featured on the front of the 2011 Bainbridge brochure. 

Not Familiar with Flickr™?
Flickr is an online photo sharing web site that is made up of many groups, including a Bainbridge, Georgia group. You can add your photos to the BCVB’s photo-sharing group and quickly enter many images for others to see.
Submit Your Photos using Flickr™
To add a photo to Flickr, just follow these easy steps: 

1. Log on -- To submit your photos via Flickr™, use your Yahoo!® ID to login to www.flickr.com. If you do not have an account, you can sign-up for free.  
2. Join The Bainbridge, Georgia Flickr group - If you are not already a member of the Bainbridge, Georgia s group on Flickr™, join by clicking "Join this Group" on the group's homepage.  
3. Upload an image - After logging in, upload your images using the form provided.  
4. Send the Image to Our Group - Browse to the image you wish to submit for the contest, and use the "Send to Group" function above the image to add your photograph to the Bainbridge, Georgia photo pool.  
5. Tag it! -- Once added to the group, tag each photo with BCVCB11 through the "tag" feature in the right-hand column of the individual photo's page.  

That's it! You'll be helping us showcase the history and beauty of Bainbridge, Georgia!
Best of all, by using Flickr, everyone in our online community can see your photos and be inspired by Bainbridge’s amazing places!

CONTEST RULES:

1.     You do not have to live in Bainbridge to enter, but all photographs MUST be images from Bainbridge and Decatur County.

2.     You can submit as many photos as you’d like.

3.     Photos can be of anything located in Bainbridge and Decatur County.  Some examples include: The Flint River, historic homes and buildings, landscapes, local events and more.

4.     Uploaded images must be at least 300 dpi.

5.     By submitting your photo using BCVB11, you hereby grant to the BCVB (i) a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display and publicly perform the photographs you submit to the BCVB, and (ii) the right to use your name, city, state and country of residence in promotions and other publications.
